The other day I was given some apples. A lot of apples and I decided that we needed to make some apple pies. So with my handy helper, Owen, we made two delicious pies! It was sure fun making them with him. Everything is an adventure with that boy! And yes, things got a bit messy! We had flour everywhere!
To make it more fun, i let Owen pick out a cookie cutter shape and we made a center decal for each pie. he picked a triceratops for his pie and a butterfly for Vanessa’s.
While I was cleaning up, I gave Owen a small bowl of flour and let him play in it outside. He LOVED it! He has quite the imagination! I love watch him play! I enjoy these moments with my kids! I hope that they have fond memories of these activities! The pies turned out great! Yum!! Warm apple pie! br />
