Vanessa had her Fall Break in mid October and my family was able to come up and visit for the weekend. We went shopping, played games and got to go to a trampoline center called GetAir and Antelope Island.
I always love when my family comes to visit. It’s so great to see them and do fun things together. The kids and I went and jumped at GetAir. We had a blast! I felt like a kid again and it was so much fun to play with the kids! It had several foam square pits that you can jump and flip in. We loved those. Vanessa and Owen loved running and jumping in them. Reagan and Maria did done pretty cool flips into them and I even did some front flips!
We also had fun jumping on all the tramps! It was such a fun night! Thanks Mom for taking us!
On Saturday Oct 20th, we helped Mark with the laundry room and then went to Antelope Island. My family hasn’t ever been there before so it was fun to take them. It was such a crisp blue sky day and while driving on the strip to the island we could see the mountains reflected in the water. That was so neat to see. It made us feel like we were floating. We stopped to take a few pictures. It was beautiful!
Upon entering the island, we were able to see quite a few buffalo! The kids thought that was so cool. The buffalo freely roam the island so it was fun to see them as we drove around.
Our first stop was to the visitors center. We walked around and looked at all the neat things. Grandpa and Grandma bought each of us a little souvenir. Owen picked out a toy buffalo, Vanessa a big pink diamond and Maria, Reagan and I got a bracelet.
Our last stop on the island was the beach. We walked out and got to play for awhile in the water. We had a blast playing and the kids didn’t want to go. We can now say we have been in the Great Salt Lake! It was a fun day spent with my awesome family! Thanks for coming up and spending your vacation with us! We love you guys!
