My sweet Grandma Rowley celebrated her 90th birthday at the end of August.
The family organized a big birthday weekend all for her. We were able to go down to Delta on Labor Day weekend for the family celebration and open house. I was able to see a lot of my family that I haven’t seen in years! It was so fun to see them again and catch up. It felt just like it was when I grew up having family all around.
It was fun seeing my sweet grandma. She means the world to me so to see her so happy was such a great thing. She has lived such an amazing life and has such a great perspective on things. She is my inspiration. I just love to sit and visit with her. She makes me and all those she comes in contact with feel so loved and needed. What a special talent she has!
I was able to make her birthday cake for the open house. She loved it and it was a joy to make for her. It was fun to see all the people who she has touched come and honor her. She doesn’t like to be in the spotlight but she truly deserved this day to be recognized.
