With the craziness of summer, it feels like we haven’t had much time at home so for Family Home Evening we took advantage of our time together as a family and went outside and played on our swing set and played games in the backyard. It was so much fun just soaking up the late summer sun with our kids and playing with them. I know we will treasure these moments that we have as a family and I hope our children will remember them as well and how much we love them.
We are so blessed to have the knowledge of the gospel and to know that because Mark and I were sealed in the temple, we will be a forever family. What a blessing that is! I love my family so much! I have come to learn that my children have taught me so much more than what I can teach them. They have taught me unconditional love, patience, unselfishness, service, forgiveness, and so much more. With out my husband and children, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. I have come to understand the scripture that states that in order to inherit the celestial kingdom, we must become as little children. I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for trusting me enough with these beautiful spirits, to raise his beautiful children and to help teach them what they need to know to be able to return to him again. FAMILY is life’s greatest blessing!
