At the end of July, Vanessa discovered that her two bottom front teeth were loose. She came up and showed me that they moving. I was surprised and excited to tell her about the Tooth Fairy. She was a bit concerned and confused at first about loosing teeth. We had to explain to her that it was ok that her baby teeth were lose and that she has big teeth that will replace them. After explaining she was excited to loose her teeth.
We noticed that her permanent teeth were coming in quite crooked. We ask Grandpa to take a look. He suggested to have the two teeth pulled so they could straighten out more quickly.
So on August 1st, I took Vanessa into get them pulled. I was more nervous than she was! She did so good! She didn’t even flinch with the shot or when Grandpa pulled them. After they were out she got to see her new smile. Hen we got home, the first thing she did was go up and put them under her pillow. She was so excited for the Tooth Fairy!
The next morning, we all were awoken by her excited shouts about the Tooth Fairy coming and that she left money! What a fun time this is! It is hard to realize that my baby girl is now old enough to loose teeth! Where had the time gone?
