For an activity prior to coloring eggs, I got out some baking soda and let the kids drop colored vinegar on it. It bubbles and fizzes and entertained them for a few hours while we waited for Daddy to get home. It is such a simple and fun activity.
Once Daddy got home and we had dinner, we got things ready to color eggs. The kids had such a fun time dying their eggs. Vanessa liked writing everybody’s names on the eggs and dying them pink. Owen had fun dying all his eggs green. He even took out eggs that were already dyed and dyed them again in a different color. Needless to say, his hands were dyed as well! Doing fun activities with our kids is the best. We love to see them try new things and to have so much fun. It helps us to remember to laugh and enjoy life to the fullest! We are so grateful for these moments that we get with our kids!
