One of my high school cheer friends, Shianne, recently moved up here to Clinton with her family. She has kids the same age as our kids so we thought it would be fun to get together and let the kids play at the Riverdale Splash Pad. The kids were so excited to make some new friends. They hit it off fast and had a lot of fun playing and having a picnic lunch with their new friends. Shianne and I had a fun taking and catching up while the kids cooled off. It has been years since we have talked with each other. It is fun to have someone from Delta living up by us. It makes it seem like there is a little bit of home clear up here in the big city. We will definitely have to get the kids together more.
