This handsome daddy turned 31 today! It has been 10 years since I met him and it has been fun to celebrate each year together since! We spent the day getting ready for his party while he was out doing a service project for the ward. He is always so willing to go and serve others even on his birthday. That is what I love about him! So while he was out, we decorated the house and the kids helped make him his cake. Owen wanted to make his dad a present so he came up with his very own creation of a light saber made from card stock and tape. He was so excited to wrap it up and give it to him so they could play!
When he got home, he was able to open his presents and boy was he impressed with Owen’s light saber. They had a lot of fun playing together after all the presents were opened. That night we made him some homemade pizza for dinner, which is always a family favorite! After dinner, family came over for more presents and cake and ice cream. He got some new shirts, grill accessories, the Marvel Lego Hero game, and coin collecting books and coins. The kids wanted to help make him a cake and chose the bright blue icing which he thought was pretty cool. It was sure a fun day celebrating our main man of the house! Happy Birthday Mark!
