Vanessa’s school practiced all year for this event. The kids were able to run and show all us parents that they could do it. I made a big effort to get there to cheer Vanessa on but the school decided to start her grade 10 minutes early so I missed it! Needless to say I was a tad frustrated! I did get a cute picture of her after the race. She said she had fun and did well. I guess that’s all that counts!
