With the passing of Mark’s Grandma after Christmas we had to postpone our visit to Delta. We did finally get down there and the kids as usual were thrilled to be going down. They were excited to get there presents too. The girls got a cute fluffy pillowcase, pajamas and a toy. Owen got a remote control car, and a pair of pajamas. Mom and Dad gave me a nice frying pan and a shirt. Mark got a nice flash light/lantern. It will be great to use in our emergency kit. We had a good time visiting them and relaxing.
My family was able to come up too for the weekend to see our new home. It was fun to be able to have them stay with us and it was so nice to have so much more space to host them! We were able to go out shopping and to the Pizza Pie Cafe for lunch. The kids love that restaurant and wanted to take them there. What is better than all you can eat pizza! We enjoyed our time with them and were so glad that they could make the trip up!
