Owen is such a fun little guy. He has just four months until he turns 3. He has so much energy and quite the imagination! We could just play with him for hours and never get tired of it. We love the dynamic that he adds to our family. He is just so much fun and we can’t help but smile when we are with him or thinking of him. Here are a few things about Mr. O:
- He favorite thing to play is dinosaurs. He loves to be the T-Rex. He will stomp around the house and roar and use his hands to be the dinosaurs jaw. He also likes to put his green blanket over his shoulders and pretend to be a pterodactyl by flapping it and running around the house while making flying sounds. It is so cute to watch him play!
- He is quite the messy eater only because he likes to pretend he is a dinosaur or anything other than himself to eat his food. Needless to say we have to wash him well and clean the floor after every meal.
- He also is quite the story teller and gets really talkative right before bed. I think its because he is trying his best to NOT go to bed. He likes to use his hands to tell any story. When he really gets into it, his hands will be waving around everywhere.
- The other day, he was at the table saying with a flower and saying, “Our loves is dead. Our love is doomed.” I had to think of what he was saying and then realized it was off of the movie Gnomeo and Juliet. So funny. He just cracks me up!
- This week has been the first week that he has been going to bed by himself and staying in his room! Hallelujah! Hopefully he will keep it up.
- He loves when you tell him that he is growing up to be such a big boy. It gives him confidence!
- He is now starting to show more interest in his little sister. He likes to give her kisses which end up getter her all slobbery. He also likes to take her hands and wave them.
- He loves to play outside and play in the dirt. He could spend hours outside. It makes it really hard to get him to come in the house. Thankfully Spring is here and the weather is starting to warm up. YAY!!
We are truly grateful to have Owen in our family. He helps us to remember to have fun everyday and helps us to smile and laugh more often. We love you, Mr. Owen!
