For Halloween this year, Vanessa wanted to be Spider Girl, Owen, a storm trooper, and Sariah was a little pink flower. Vanessa’s costume came with a little mask but kids are not allowed to wear them at school so we came up with some awesome face art of a spider web and spiders. It turned out so cool and she loved it!
She had a Halloween costume parade at school that we were able to go to. It was fun seeing all the kids’ costumes. I was also able to volunteer at her class Halloween party. That was my first time getting in her class to volunteer since getting sick. I was fun to her in the class and with all of her friends. She seems to be loving school and we couldn’t be happier!
Halloween night turned out to be a perfect evening for Trick or Treating. It was great weather and the kids were so excited! Mark and I took the kids around the block before he headed home to hand out candy. I was able to take them to around and we got a treasure load of candy! We only stayed out for about an hour and half before the kids were ready to head back home. Definitely had a great night with the kids!!
