In school, Vanessa has been learning about the life cycle of a pumpkin and plants. I have been really impressed with all of the new things and words she is learning and that she knows exactly how a pumpkin grows. Her grade was able to go on a field trip to a pumpkin patch and see how and where they grow. I was able to go and be with her and help her pick out her very own pumpkin. She was excited to take it home to carve and get it ready for Halloween.
We also were able to take the kids to a local nursery and pick out some pumpkins. Vanessa wanted a big one and Owen and Sariah were just happy to run around and see all the pumpkins. I love Fall, the crisp weather, and all the fun activities we can do as a family. Carving pumpkins should be fun this year!!!
