We packed up our bags and loaded the cars to get ready for our return home. The Jones’ family had flights on Saturday and we couldn’t get flights back until Sunday so we were heading to Long Beach while they got ready to catch a flight back home from LAX. We had some time to kill before flights so we took a side trip to Hollywood. It was fun to see the famous Hollywood sign on the hill and we even got to walk the strip and see all the Hollywood “Star” with their hand prints. The atmosphere was not family friendly at all so we didn’t spend too much time out on the streets.
We stopped in at Johnny Rockets to grab some lunch before heading our different directions. It was sad to think our vacation was drawing to a close but so happy for all of the wonderful memories we made.
We said our goodbyes and headed to Long Beach. We checked into our hotel and played with our new Lego’s for a little bit before we headed to Long Beach and play in the ocean. I think the kids had the most fun on this beach. The waves were very mild and low so they were able to run and play in the ocean. We were able to stay and watch the sunset and it was beautiful. It was a perfect way to end our amazing vacation!!
