We were able to sleep in and take our time getting ready. We decided to do the Mickey Halloween party so we couldn’t get into the park until 3 pm. We went shopping to pick up a some more snacks and supplies to pass the time. We also took the kids to some shops so they could pick out some souvenirs. Owen chose some Ninja Turtle Legos and Vanessa picked a signing Ariel doll.
Before heading over to the Party, we got changed into our Halloween Costumes. We chose to do a pirate theme. Marka and I were pirates, Owen was Jake from the Neverland Pirates, Vanessa was Tinkerbell, and Sariah was a fairy. The Jones family had some cute costumes. Anellina was Minnie Mouse, Carsten was Mickey, Josh was Russel from Up and RoShawn was Snow White. It was fun to be able to dress up in costumes and celebrate Halloween at Disneyland.
We were able to go on most of the rides. Vanessa’s favorite ride by far was Splash Mountain. She loved it! Owen’s was the Gadget’s Coaster. He thought it was so fun to go fast. The crowds that night were really big and the Trick or Treating lines were long. We went and got a few treats but decided to take advantage of the shorter ride lines while everyone was busy Trick or Treating. It was a good plan and we were able to get on to some rides without waiting too long. It was fun to see all the Disney Villains come out and the parade was a lot of fun too! The kids had fun dancing to the music and seeing all the characters. The fireworks at the end of the night was awesome too! It was all Halloween themed and so fun!!
