Summer vacation is officially over and we now get to welcome a new school year. Vanessa is now a big 1st Grader. She couldn’t be more excited to go back to school and make new friends and learn. We felt impressed to enroll her in a new charter school, Voyage Academy, that opened in our area. It’s focus is on expeditionary learning and we are excited to see how this learning style will help Vanessa learn even more. It will be a bit different having her wear uniforms but it will be a good different. She doesn’t seem to mind. We are excited to see how she progresses this year in school. Vanessa’s teacher this year is Mrs. Barker. She seems very nice and fun and I know Vanessa will enjoy her as a teacher.
