This year our little Leprechaun came and led the kids on a treasure hunt! They awoke and found that our leprechaun left a trail of shamrocks from their rooms to the fireplace. There on the fireplace was our shoes and a little note that told us about the treasure hunt. The kids were so excited! He led us all over the house searching for clues. We even found one in the sink! The kids thought that was pretty funny! At last we came to the last clue which led us to the laundry room. We found our treasure hidden behind the laundry baskets! Bubbles, chocolate gold coins, and skittles! The kids really enjoyed searching for clues and it was fun watching them get so excited!
For dinner, we had Pot of Gold Soup, Shamrock Bread sticks, green milk, and rainbow cupcakes. Vanessa was by big helper with the cupcakes! It was yummy and we had so much fun celebrating St. Patrick’s Day together.
