It’s coming along! We have been devoting mostly every night to working on it in. To be honest, it’s exhausting but we are so close to being done! That thought is what is giving us the motivation to finish. The worst part about the whole process was the taping and mudding of the drywall. It was SO SO messy. I think that is an understatement!! Poor Mark was just covered in dust plus it seemed like it took FOREVER!
Once we got it smooth and even it was time to paint! I wanted a light yellow but not too yellow. I wanted the room to be light and bright so it would help me be happy while doing laundry. Lets be honest, I really don’t like doing laundry so a bright happy color would only help things! The color turned out perfect! It looks great with the white cabinets!!!
Next came tiling the floor. All of these projects were firsts for us. Tiling took longer than expected but in the end turned out beautifully! Thanks Dad for letting us use your tile saw! It helped a ton!!! Mark also did a marvelous job. He is quite the handy man! He also had help from so little helpers.
We are getting excited to get the cabinets installed and the washer and dryer back up and running again!! We can see the end!!!!
