I took the kids over to look at the sidewalk chalk drawings for Clinton Heritage Days. The artists were just starting to draw so I didn’t get any pictures but they definitely will be great when they are done. The weather was perfect for being outside so we went over to the carnival and let the kids ride a few rides.
They were so excited to ride the rides! I found myself reflecting on how childhood holds so much wonder, magic, and just pure fun! I wish I could go back to that time in my life and tell myself to just soak it all up before the magic fades. I love being in this stage of life and having little ones around me. Yes, it is full of crazy not so organized days but it is also fun of magic and wonder! Just watching my children get on the rides with huge smiles on their faces was enough to remind me that I still have that magic and wonder in my life and that I just need to join in on that fun and enjoy it. Having children has really taught me so much about life and what it truly is about. Everyday, I learn something new from them and I am so blessed to have four precious little ones in my life.
