Christmas this year couldn’t have been better! It turned out to be a white Christmas! We woke up and looked out the window and it was finally snowing!!! We were all so excited! We got our Christmas day started by eating breakfast and then heading downstairs to see if Santa came! The kids were so excited to see their stockings stuffed and the presents under the tree. Sariah was by far the most excited to see that Santa came. She was jumping up and down and squealing. It was too cute! We let the kids open their presents from Santa first. Vanessa got her Snow Glow Elsa Doll that she was so excited for and a Anna doll and a Cinderella Castle Lego set. Owen got the Brontasaurs Switch and Go Dino, Transformer Dino, and a Lego Movie Lego Set. Sariah got her Anna and Elsa and Christoff doll and Duplo Cinderella Castle. She was absolutely thrilled!! As soon as she got the present in her hands she was shaking with excitement and saying, “Anna Elsa doll!!!” Then she opened it and she started jumping up and down and screaming, “Anna Elsa doll!!!” It was the BEST Christmas reaction we have had so far! Chad got a Little People Super Hero Set and two a teething toys. Mark got a Blueray player, Jazz tickets, a certificate to the Carter in Midway, a date night package and a Star Wars shirt. I got an iPad, necklace, shirt, radio clock, and head phones.
We were able to get the kids a few other gifts. They got some clothes and a few other toys and the most exciting gift was a lego table with storage!! The kids loved it and we spent most of the day building our lego sets on it. It is so nice to have a place to store their many legos and a place to build them.
We went to visit the Sorensen family and have Christmas lunch. We enjoyed seeing what they got and the kids had fun playing with their cousins. We then headed back home to end the day playing and building our Legos. It was a perfect White Christmas and we were so glad that Santa was able to find us and leave so many wonderful gifts!
