Mark and I have been talking for awhile now about getting a newer van for our family. Our Honda is a 2000 and has high mileage. It has been a great car for our family but it is just time for an upgrade. We just would like a more reliable and safe car. We started pricing out vans and it was a bit frustrating because we couldn’t get what we wanted without paying an arm and leg. We wanted a Toyota but all we could find were ones that cost over $20,000. Yikes! We wanted to keep our payments as low as possible but still get good van. It seemed like it was going to be an impossible task.
One day at work I was talking with a co-worker and she was telling me about a guy she buys her cars from. He buys the cars from the auction then fixes them back up. They have restored titles but are so much cheaper. Our Honda has a restored title so we didn’t have a problem with that. If it runs and is fixed right then it is worth it. Amy has never had a problem with any of the cars her and her family have gotten from him so we decided to give him a call. We wanted a Toyota and he had just sold one the day before for an awesome price but he did have a 2011 Chrysler Town and Country Van with 36,000 miles for sale @ $10,500. WHAT!!! Is he joking!!! We had to see it for ourselves! We stopped by his shop on the way back from Delta to see the car. We were not disappointed. This van has everything that we wanted for an awesome price. It has a back up camera, blue tooth, DVD player, power sliding doors and tailgate, is a charcoal color and just so much more!!
We never thought about a Town and Country but we knew that this was the car we needed to get. It was affordable and reliable and a big upgrade from what we had before. We listed our Honda on KSL and sold it in a day. We were able to use the money for a down payment on the new van and walk away with a very small monthly payment. NICE!! We picked up our van today and it is so nice! We love how it drives and just are so happy that we found it and things have worked out nicely that we could get it. We are definitely excited about our new addition to our family! We look forward to taking lots of family vacations and outings in our new van!
Out with the old…

And in with the new!
