Our little Master Jedi, Owen turned 5! He has been so excited to be turn 5 and to have his Star Wars themed birthday! He wanted to have a friend party this year along with a family party. I got to work and we put together a Jedi training coarse for his friend party. He invited a few friends and they got to come over and do some training with their very own “pool noodle” light saber! They all had such a great time. We had pizza for lunch along with other Star Wars themed food.
For his family party, we had the Mendoza, Sorensen, and Thomson families over. Owen wanted a light saber cake that was blue and red, so I went to work on that it turned out so cute! He has been wanting a Luke Skywalker/Darth Vader light saber for quite awhile now. Grandpa and Grandma Mendoza surprised him with just that! He was so excited! Aunt Kimberly and Zach surprised him with his very own Sith Lord cape! We gave him a Darth Vader and General Grievous masks and some Star Wars Lego’s. Oh, he was in heaven! It was so fun to see him be so excited!
Owen is growing up to be such a cute boy! He still has such a great imagination and love for life. He is a talker and loves to tell stories whenever he can. He loves to play and play! It is hard for us to get him to stop playing. We sure do love having him in our family. He has taught us how to have fun and that life is to be enjoyed! Happy Birthday Owen!
