To bring in the new year, we were able to celebrate with our friends the Jones’ at our house. We had a yummy dinner of homemade pizzas and salad to start off the evening. The kids entertained themselves quite well while we broke out some board games and played. We were able to celebrate with the kids a few hours before it was actually midnight so they could get to bed at a decent hour. They had fun popping the poppers and shouting “Happy New Year!” After getting them settled and in bed, we were able to play a few more games and eat more food before the ball dropped and brought in the new year.
It is crazy to think how fast this year has gone by! Each year seems to be going by faster and faster! We have been so blessed this year. Mark has been doing well at his job, we are expecting baby #4, I recovered from a horrible go with Hyperemisis, we sold our previous house and got exactly what we wanted for it, became debt free, and finally bought another amazing house at the close of the year. I could go on and on with all the blessings that we have received from our Heavenly Father! We are truly grateful for this past year and look forward to a new year with new adventures and experiences that can only help us grow and become better! Bring on 2014!!!
