We heard about a fun Ice Castle that was made in Midway this winter. They had come several years ago and did a similar thing and because it was such a success, they came back and made another castle.  With the new Disney movie, “Frozen,” it was even a bigger hit. We decided to take the kids up to Midway for FHE and see it ourselves. Vanessa was so excited to be able to go and see Elsa’s castle.

We made a stop at Mark’s Grandpa’s house. It was around dinner time so we decided to take him out with us to grab a quick bite to eat. It was fun to be able to take the time to see and visit with him and give him some company.

We got up to Midway around 7:45 pm. The line to get in was fairly long but we did finally get into the enormous ice castle. It was so neat to see! They had lights glowing through the ice and the kids loved playing in all the snow and going through the mazes. We spend about an hour and half there before we started to get too cold. What a cool and fun thing to see. I guess there are only 3 places that they do these ice castles in the country so it was fun to take advantage of having it in Utah and experience it for ourselves! What a fun adventure we can add to our memories!20140120_20244420140120_20272520140120_20324220140120_20314120140120_20333220140120_20353820140120_20493120140120_20414220140120_20390220140120_20355420140120_205912
