Today, we had our 17 week prenatal visit and because they are keeping a close eye on the baby’s development we were able to get another ultrasound. I was hoping that would be the case and that we would be able to find out what we were having. Owen really has been wanting a baby brother and he has told me that he has prayed to Heavenly Father to please send him a boy and He said He would. So I was a bit anxious and nervous at the same time to find out. So drum roll please…we will be having more BLUE in the family and Owen will get a baby brother!!!! We are so excited to be welcoming another healthy little boy into our family!!! We both haven’t stopped smiling since we found out!
We decided to make it fun for the kids so we wrapped up 4 blue balloons in a giant box and had the kids open it up tonight. We told them that blue means boy and pink means girl. They were so excited to open up the box. Once Owen saw the blue balloons he started to jump up and down and said He just knew he was getting a baby brother. Vanessa was happy then sad then happy again when she realized that now we will have 2 boys and 2 girls. Sariah was clueless and just excited to be getting 4 balloons to play with. We feel so blessed to be able to have the sweet children that we have and to have another one join our family in April! YEAH for more BLUE!!!
