Relaxation and Beach Day! By far one of the best days! We love the ocean and playing on the beach!
We were able to go to Newport Beach and take the car ferry over to Balboa. We have never been on a car ferry so that was a fun experience for all of us. The kids were excited to get out of the car and play on the beach. The waves were pretty big and it was a bit chilly so we had the kids stay up on the beach. While playing we were able to see a couple of dolphins and even a seal swim right out of the surf on to the beach! That was awesome!!!
For lunch we ate at a restaurant on the pier overlooking the ocean. The hamburgers were yummy and it was such a fun experience! After lunch, we did some site seeing and visited some shops. We really enjoyed our time in Newport.
After Newport, we drove to play on another beach, Laguna Beach. There was a small tide pool that the kids had a blast playing in. Vanessa and Josh even found a coconut! Owen and Sariah really loved running on the beach in the sand. We all had fun playing with each other and enjoying the day out in the sun.
For dinner that night, we had planned to go to Goofy’s Kitchen but on the drive back to the hotel I started to feel sick to my stomach. So the Jones’ went to dinner while we relaxed back in the hotel and got the kids down to sleep so they could be well rested for the long day at Disneyland tomorrow.
