We had a lot of fun this summer doing things at the house and going places. We tried out a new splash pad with the kids and cousins. They loved the big slide, especially Sariah! She thought it was the coolest thing to slide down on her belly. Such a fun way to help us stay cool in the summer.
We also frequented our neighborhood park. We loved going on walks to the park and playing. The kids loved to climb on the “mountain” and have adventures and run down the hill. We had to make sure to go when it wasn’t too hot or it wouldn’t be as fun. They kids also seem to find the water and loved to mix it in the sand and get all messy.
Another go to place is the swimming pool. Now that the kids are bigger, the pool doesn’t stress me out too much…because taking 3 small kids by yourself to a place full of water is a bit stressful! The kids loved playing on the water slides and because they wore their floaties they were able to swim in the deeper section. I think that was their favorite part.
We all love summer and all the fun that we get to have together!
