I am always amazed with how fast the summer seems to go by! We love summer and all the fun things that come with it. Now that it is starting to wind down, we enter another great season, Harvest Time! Our garden has done well this year. The tomatoes are really staring to come on. I predict that I will be busy for the next month canning tomatoes, peaches, pears, apricots, etc.
I decided to try making canned salsa this year. I was a bit nervous since i havd never canned salsa brfore but it turned out so yummy! Much better than the store bought kind!
It is always a busy time but I love it because I get to replenish our food storage for yet another year!
