It is hard to believe that my little girl turned 6 this August! She is becoming such a fun and sweet girl. This year she wanted a Rise of the Guardian party theme. Not a typical theme to pick but it was fun coming up with decorations and a cake. She really loves the character “Tooth” so we decided to make her the cake topper for her cake with all the other characters on their own side of the square cake. I made all of the characters out of fondant and it turned out so cute! Vanessa loved it and that is what makes me happy.
We took the family to the North Shore Aquatic Center for the day. We all enjoyed spending time out in the warm sun and swimming. Vanessa and Owen had fun playing and going down the big slide with dad. Sariah loved the kiddie pool and the little slide. She was brave enough to go down by herself and she thought that was so exciting! After the pool, we grabbed some pizza and took it home to celebrate Vanessa’s birthday as a family.
The next day, we invited our family over to help us celebrate and eat some cake. Vanessa got lots of fun things for her birthday! A Princess Sofia doll, a dress, Tangled Leapster game, Rise of the Guardian shoes, and a barbie. She is one special little lady here at our house. We love her to pieces and are so thankful to have such a fun girl as our daughter. Happy Birthday Vanessa!
