To start the day off, we went to the Clearfield City Parade. At first the kids weren’t too happy to be there, especially Vanessa. It was way to hot for her and she did not like it. Once the candy started to be thrown, she livened up a bit more. They had a fun getting the candy but were happy that it was over so they could get in the car and get cooled off.
We came home and set up the big blow up slide/pool to play in. Yes, even Mark and I had fun going down it and cooling off. We played out there for hours. Aliyah, Hailey and Gideon came over and played too before we needed to head over to the Sorensen’s for a BBQ with the Carter side of the family.
The BBQ was fun and we played lots of fun games together. The best was a game of volleyball. It was so much fun to have lots of people there to play with. We had a few good games before we needed to head to get spot to watch the fireworks. The fireworks were amazing as usual. I love watching them and so do the kids. It was a perfect way to end a perfect day!
