Just after Christmas, we went down to Salt Lake to Temple Square to see the lights. We bundled up and braved the cold weather. The kids loved all the lights and seeing the temple. It was beautiful! It always adds to the Christmas spirit.
While walking by the big statue of Christ, Owen said to us, “Jesus is watching me, He is following me!” We explained to him that Jesus is always watching us and that he wants us to follow Him. It was a great teaching moment.
After seeing the lights, we walked around City Creek and took the kids to the Disney Store and they got to look at all the toys. They thought that was pretty cool and so did we!
We finished the evening by getting some donuts and hot chocolate to warm ourselves up!
