I have been itching to get started on updating our master bath! It needed a facelift bad! While I had some free time I worked on painting our vanity a dark mocha color. Something so simple as painting a small vanity took me nearly two weeks to complete! I am learning how to enjoy the process of things and to take it one day at a time. I was so excited when it was completed. I can’t believe how much better our bathroom looks with dark cabinets. It didn’t cost me one penny to do it. I used the left over oops paint from our dresser redo that I found at Home Depot! Yay!!!
Here is the before picture minus the doors. I get just a tinsy bit excited to get a project started that I forget to take pictures 🙂

All Done! Definitely worth the time!

After painting the vanity, I didn’t want to stop there! So I decided to paint the walls Olympic Brand Roman Plaster. I used the same kind to paint the three walls on our bedroom. It ties everything in now.
After painting, we hung a super cute cabinet that I found at a yard sale for dirt cheap. It gives us the much need storage pace we have been lacking! It’s so nice to have a place to put my stuff now and it is such a great decor piece. I still need to get a few glass jars to put on the shelves but like I said, I’m taking one day at a time.
Before

We still have a few more projects to do before it is completely finished. My plan is to put bead board along the wall with the window and put hooks on it to hang towels. We are also going to tile the floor and frame the mirror. Just a few more projects to do and it will be done. Can’t wait to see the finished product!
