My favorite time of year is here!!! I just love everything about Fall, the amazing colors, food, holidays, and weather! I love the crisp feeling in the air when Fall rolls around and that means its time to start pulling out my boots! Yeah!! We were able to go up with our friends, the Thompson’s, to their family cabin in Midway again. We drove up on a Friday and met them at the Homestead. We got there about 30 minutes before they did so we took the kids up on the crater located on the property. They thought that was so cool! From on top of the crater we could see the entire Heber Valley. It was breath taking! We also could stand on a bridge and look straight down in to the hot pools. Mark and I decided that is one place we would like to stay and try swimming in the hot pool. We were able to met up with the Thompson’s and head to the cabin to cook pizza for dinner. The kids love going to the cabin and playing! It’s fun to see them so excited. We were able to play some games with the crew and enjoy the night with our good friends.
In the morning we went outside to enjoy all the beautiful colors! The timing was absolutely perfect! The mountains were an array of colors and so beautiful! We took the kids on a walk to relish all of natures natural beauty. Looking at the changing trees and enjoying the outdoors always makes me think of my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ and bring me closer to them. I am in awe that They created such a beautiful world for me to enjoy! We always enjoy spending time with great friends and are so blessed to have them apart of our lives.
